“Create a product to help solve a problem within a category of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) of the United Nations.”
I chose to create an educational mood tracking device for young girls to better menstrual education.
Initial Research
When researching into UK schools I found that menstrual education only became compulsory in England in 2020 and it is currently not compulsory in the rest of the UK. Leaving the decision up to individual teachers risks taboo attitudes and stigma around the subject leading to misinformation and confusion.
